ThinkOnTheEdge - MiniMax Code often gets stuck ...
MiniMax Code often gets stuck in loops of making the same edits to try to fix problems that didn't work before. These will be long cycles: - Try thing 1, test, fail. - Try thing 2, test fail. - Try thing 3, test fail. - Try thing 1, test fail. - Try thing 2, test fail.
It is like it just cannot keep track of its own history. Worse, if you lock it into a "plan mode" it will often display thinking in these same circles, I've had it go for an hour looping over the same ideas, they are a paragraph apart, so it makes progress, but gets back to the same failed idea, sees why it would fail, but proceeds to get there again.
Is there something I can do to make MiniMax-M2.1 "smarter" about these things?
